George Washington’s Socks by Elvira Woodruff.
I really like this book because there was time travel in it and I like time travel because you get to travel to different time periods. In this book it was especially fun because I traveled to a time period I used to like a lot when I was younger (and I still do!).
This book is about 5 kids, their names are Matt, Q, Tony, Hooter and Katie. They were having a sleepover in Tony’s backyard, then they decided that they wanted to go on a walk around the nearby lake. They saw a rowboat, then got in it, and they were taken to the time of the Revolutionary War.
I recommend this book because if you like adventure there is lots of adventure if you like history there’s lots of history too. I learned that war is an unhappy time.
