It’s National Poetry Month and The Canvas and its neighbors are having a street party! Join us for a FREE community celebration of words, rhymes, and lines. There will be food, games, and activities for all ages, including crazy quill making, window graffiti, freestyle session, sidewalk chalk contest, beer garden, bbq, word cookies, and much much more.
Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your imagination and be the word on the street!
Featuring performances by a hula hoop collective (10:30am), Spirit Lodge Drumming (12:00pm), The Kinetics (1:00pm), and an Open Mic hosted by the Woosh Kinaadeiyi Poetry Slam (2:00pm).
