CBJ DAY OF PLAY- Saturday 9/15 1:30-4, Valley Library
Stop by the Valley Library for a scavenger hunt, storytelling and more. Look out for Salty the Sea Otter and get ask for a prize ticket while you’re there to be eligible for some great prizes including a three month pass to the Dimond Park Aquatic Center. We’ll be signing kids up for new library cards (it’s National Library Card month) and showing off new laptops (provided by the Alaska OWL Project) available soon for checking out and using in the Valley Library. We’ll be using the laptops to demo some great new kids resources like Tumblebooks (ebooks for kids), BrainPOP and BrainPOPjr as well as an old but essential tool for the school year, Live Homework Help.
