Pam Houston and Emma Hill:
A Conversation in Stories and Song
Pam Houston and Emma Hill love a lot of the same things: mountains, rivers, wild places, Alaska, good men and sometimes not so good ones, their girlfriends and their lives.  In this show, Pam will start with a story, which will make Emma think of one of her songs, which will make Pam think of another one of her stories, and in that way they will have a conversation about all of these things and more.
Author Pam Houston and songwriter Emma Hill will join together to create a new lyrical voice.  Houston is an award-winning author of “Cowboys Are My Weakness”, “Waltzing the Cat”, “Sighthound”, and her newest title, “Contents May Have Shifted”.  Learn more about Pam at
Songwriter Emma Hill is from Anchorage and Sleetmute and will be releasing a new CD.  Her song “Meet Me at the Moon” charted worldwide.  Learn more about Emma at
