Pam Houston and Emma Hill:
A Conversation in Stories and Song
Pam Houston and Emma Hill love a lot of the same things: mountains, rivers, wild places, Alaska, good men and sometimes not so good ones, their girlfriends and their lives. In this show, Pam will start with a story, which will make Emma think of one of her songs, which will make Pam think of another one of her stories, and in that way they will have a conversation about all of these things and more.
Author Pam Houston and songwriter Emma Hill will join together to create a new lyrical voice. Houston is an award-winning author of “Cowboys Are My Weakness”, “Waltzing the Cat”, “Sighthound”, and her newest title, “Contents May Have Shifted”. Learn more about Pam at http://pamhouston.wordpress.com
Songwriter Emma Hill is from Anchorage and Sleetmute and will be releasing a new CD. Her song “Meet Me at the Moon” charted worldwide. Learn more about Emma at http://www.emmahillmusic.com/
